Voles – As previously communicated, the ground holes caused by the voles with be filled and repaired this spring. This does not guarantee that they will leave…. 05/26
Dead grass – Throughout the community there are some areas of dead grass/lawn. Some of these are owner caused (or rather pet caused) and some are a function of the sprinkler system, or tree presence in the area. There will be water restrictions this year in Calgary which will be considered before developing a plan to address these areas. Thank you for your patience in this regard. It is possible that some areas will never grow grass (i.e., those areas under/near some of our large spruce trees). 05/26
Wooden Borders – We have allocated money from the Reserve and Operating Accounts to repair some borders. However, given the Recladding Project, this may be on hold depending on that schedule. Unfortunately the contractor that did the previous work (which was excellent) was too busy last year to help us. We remain hopeful that he will be able to accommodate us again. If not we are looking for another company. 05/26
Front Entrance – As you will recall the lovely brass sign we had at our entrance was stolen. In addition owners have expressed a desire to have the lighting in the area improved and we need to address the landscaping of the two areas that previously held beautiful flowers in the summer. We no longer have a sprinkler system to this area. We have allocated funds from the Reserve Fund and Operating Budget this year to address and then develop a plan (?xeriscaping) for the future. The Board needs owners help to do this. 05/26
Visual Inspection of the Exterior of your unit – The Board and Condo Manager routinely perform a spring walkabout to identify items that need repair/attention outside of your units. We also monitor exteriors so they are maintained in accordance with the Condo Bylaws and Rules and Responsibilities. This year we are asking for your assistance as well. If you have an item of concern, please take a photo and send to our Condo Manager Patrick. Include your unit number and a brief explanation of your concern, if the photo does not tell the whole story. Thank you. 05/26
